who cares? There is at least one Waffle House per exit here in the ATL and sometimes there are two. Nothing better than some good greasy hash browns, a waffle and coffee after going to a smoky club.

The west coast (bay area specifically) has a distinct lack of Waffle Houses and IHOPs.... it's rather depressing.

There is a place in Cupertino, CA called the Original Pancake House (or something) which has the most amazing Dutch Babies on the planet.

Californians really don't seem to be into breakfast.

Perhaps not, but I believe we've elevated Brunch to a new art form.

        Good point, Walter.

This may get me in trouble with the Waffle Cabal, but I have to say that given a choice, I will go for Eggs Florentine over any other breakfast dish. That's just like Eggs Benedict, except with spinach and tomatoes instead of Canadian bacon.

        mmmmmmm

that's very delicious as well but, it's not a waffle.

how would you feel about eggs florentine on a waffle?

"how would you feel about eggs florentine on a waffle"

It might be good. Or it might be too rich. But I'm willing to try.

Now that I think of it, I've never had waffles with anything savory. Except peanut butter. Does that count?

              Eggs are icky.

Eggs Benedict/Florentine are excellent, but focus, Aaron! This is the WAFFLE tribe.

You know what sucks ASS? I'm a Waffle House aficionado from way back, and in Indiana, there is an unfortunate place called Waffle House of Indiana. Because of its existence, there is a definite dearth of real Waffle Houses. And when there is one, it's called Waffle Steak (steak also has 5 letters, so switching the sign is easy). It just isn't the same.

Yeah... I'd like hash browns, scattered smothered, and covered; cheese grits; and raisin toast with apple butter. Carb-haters... RUN FOR COVER!!

BTW - Eggs SO are not icky. You are incorrect, sir!
