I am so glad to have finally found my brethren and sistren in wafflage. <br/> <br/>I became Waffle Princess because: <br/> <br/>a) I can never make up my mind about anything. It is a chronic disorder of mine, to the degree that while waiting for me to make a decision, kingdoms rise and fall, forests grow and decay, entire species evolve and die out (this is just while waiting for me to order at a Mexican restaurant!). My friends and family just roll their eyes and try to understand, but they are usually pretty impatient. Of course, once I have made a decision, I'm never sure I have made the right one, so I change my mind back, or choose "D - All of the above" when available. And yes, I watch the Chanel-changing Channel... <br/> <br/>b) I do in fact make the world's best waffles. At least, everyone who has ever tried them has told me so. I have a secret ingredient, although since you are all waffle afficionados, perhaps you know it as well (pancake lovers may be in on the trick, too...) <br/> <br/>c) Burning Man 2002 - I brought my waffle iron to the Playa and hooked it up to the generator. I made waffles for everyone at my camp and the camps next to ours. I was in waffle heaven. But the best morning was Thursday, when Bacon Boy showed up on his bicycle. He had a camp stove strapped to the bookrack of his bike, and he was makin' bacon for anyone who smiled. Pounds of it. You could smell him a block a way. We made him waffles, and there were waffles &amp; bacon and dark roast coffee for all! But I discovered even in Port Huron michigan, in my local grocers freezer case, the wheat free waffle.
